Cloudy Saturday, the 1st of July 2023, when our adventurous trek gang couldn't contain our excitement for the long-awaited expedition. Our Insta and WhatsApp groups buzzed with anticipation, ensuring everyone was prepared for the big day. But life had a few surprises in store for us. Shilpa's unexpected absence brought our count down to nine, followed by Dimple and Pratit regretfully canceling their trek plans. But we weren't about to let setbacks dampen our spirits! With a resilient spirit, we pressed on with a group of seven daring adventurers. As the sun began its descent, casting enchanting shadows, Kishan's doubts briefly cast a shadow over our grand plan. Nevertheless, we remained steadfast with a determined group of six. The alarm's relentless buzz at 5:30 am on Sunday signaled the start of our action-packed day. Without succumbing to the allure of snoozing, I sprang into action, fueled by unwavering determination. My trusty companion, Ravi, and I prepared ou...

Walk Walk Walk till you reach the TOP: Manikgad - Part 2

After relishing our homemade treat we set off to conquer 'Manikgad' or 'Ghera Killa Manikgad' I came to know about the second name Ghera Killa Manikgad from Shrikant. As we were walking through one of the plains I overheard Shrikant and Ravi discussing this name and its significance. Lets get back to action. Action Begins Now..... We left the base village at 12:30 pm, with the Manikgad summit covered with fog. Manikgad route is the ultimate endurance test you will come to know as we move closer to the fort base and from there to the TOP. The start was easy as we started from the village with a well-paved paver block path. The pleasure of a good path was soon over and we were welcomed by Kacha road. Now Village was left behind and we were crossing rice fields. There was a narrow water stream and as we were walking along with it heard a loud call from Ravi to move fast the call was not for time but to move fast as we had a reptile for a company taking a sunbath at...

Laziness strikes and I am 2 weeks late posting The alarm strikes 1 hour early as compared to the routine schedule that too on a Saturday this indicates trek time. After 2 snoozes it was time to get moving but as always laziness, I was not willing to get out of bed, courtesy of wake-up call from Dimple I was finally out of bed and ready to move. 6:15 am left from Dombivli towards Vashi to meet and pick up other trek members. As usual, one of my friends Sugandha was late and had to wait for 45 minutes. To my surprise,  Shilpa and Dimple were prompt and reached the pick-up spot before I could reach. Considering 45 mins earlier they were on time... Being wicked. As I was waiting for Sugandha thought of calling our trek leader Ravi , he dint answer my call but as per Ravi's reputation he is never expected to be late. After few minutes I thought I should again try calling Ravi and he answered it this time and one more surprise struck Ravi was sleeping and he thought we are goi...

Ok coming back to this incident, one of building friend met with an accident there was call from some people at his house about the accident and all of us in panic situation left for the spot. Thanks to god that it is nothing major but was bit on scary side. We rushed him to nearby JJ Hospital and got him admitted. This is not an incident that happen, it starts now. I headed on my bike to accident spot and help them to transfer him to hospital and followed them on bike. After reaching hospital I parked my bike in hospital compound and went ahead to complete hospital formalities. India Vs England Ultimate Cracker

676 Runs Scored in 599 balls, 18 Wickets to fall, and still no results. These are statistics of India Vs England CWC 2011 Group B Match held on 27th Feb. After completing my Strategic Management Paper I was back home to see India cruising home to victory after putting up 338 by batting first against England. I was hoping for good bowling attack by India after Batsmen doing their job. But as we have been shouting about Indian Bowling attack they did not let us down. They were slashed in all parts of the ground very clearing stating weakness in that department. England quickly took the driving seat and very well on top of Indian Bowling till the 42nd Over of their batting and then goes Mr. Billy Bowden rotating his hands and tapping his palms and indicating time for Powerplay 3 (Batting Powerplay). Time for Dhoni to bring in the fielding and ZAK at the bowling end. ZAK delivered 1st over of batting powerplay, first 3 deliveries were very bowled giving just 1 run but lots of Aggressi...
